The moment I decided to create my blog, I wanted to shoot on railroad tracks. Ok, maybe this is a little over done, but my mind was set! It just seemed fitting for this care-free, no-rules, risky journey I was beginning ….. just like River Phoenix & his pals in “Stand by Me”. So Nicole, my photographer, & I were on the hunt for abandoned railway tracks because we were well aware that shooting on active railroad tracks was: 1. illegal 2. trespassing 3. duh, dangerous!!!
I hope you enjoy what we photographed!
I was being too moody, so I had to share a photo with my goofy my personality.
This breezy, billowy silhouette falls generously over the body & the hi-lo hem on this mini tunic gives a little more coverage. Love the super comfy, gauzy construction & beautiful embroidered detail around the neckline & shoulder. I feel very folksy, free-spirited, but had to add the ankle booties to toughen up the feminine feel of this dress. Think I’m ready for fall farmers’ markets & spring festival hopping.
My earrings were purchased while traveling in Peru many, many years ago.
