Honestly, when I first think of fall here in Massachusetts, I dwell on the feeling of COLD because winter is soon to follow & having to endure so many frigid months. The fall season is too short; if you blink, you will miss all the beautiful, vibrant colors bursting everywhere you look. This year, I focused on the creative ways to painlessly transition into fall. Think about it …. this is the time when your options practically double & there are so many additional ways to express yourself through your personal style. Fall is about layering, slipping in a few new pieces & coupling them with the existing wardrobe staples you already own. Instead of packing away my summer maxi dress, I paired it with a faux fur vest (both of which I already owned) & new, marsala-colored booties. So simple & budget-friendly.
I also love the look of tucking in a button-down or tee underneath a sleeveless summer dress ….. Yay, new outfit, so effortless & you haven’t spent a dime! Don’t forget about your summer crop top; pair it with a button-down & you have whole new look straight through fall. Combine a long, chunky tunic sweater over a super-feminine skirt & you’ve nailed the comfy & warmth factor. Reevaluate your closet as you will find new ideas & gain more mileage with your entire wardrobe. What are your ideas easy transitioning into fall?
