Fashion & style not only transcend body types, ages, budget & gender, it stretches beyond the borders of every country on the planet. It has no boundaries!!! I was blown away & so excited when the fearless leader of the Fab 40s, Sheela of Sheela Writes, emailed to see if I would like to join this international group of fashion bloggers. I couldn’t say yes fast enough!!! I’m humbled & thrilled to be a part of this group, as I believe in their positive mission statement.
To begin, there are NO rules. This is our shared individual interpretation for each monthly theme. Our unique style is a direct relationship to our individualism, therefore our personality (might I add, the personalities are powerful & incredible).
Secondly, this group is changing the mindset & sharing with the world that fashion isn’t only for the young & thin. Fashion is for everyone! As mature women, we are demonstrating that style only gets better with age since you truly know who you are & you don’t have to apologize for it. Your style is for you, not for the popular masses.
Lastly, we are empowering diversity (Quote: Same is lame!). Not only are we from different countries, there’s a ton more that makes us different from one another. But it is comforting to know that accepting & appreciating all of our differences has actually brought us together via one common thread: The passion for fashion & style.
