I know you must be thinking this blog will be all about what means most to me emotionally. That is great discussion to have because that would vary for every person out there. I’m sure if we got 50 comments, we would have 50 very distinct answers. So, by all means, please tell us:
***What matters most to you?***
I guess since I brought this up, it’s only fair I should give you a little insight. What Matters Most to Me? What matters are daily thoughts that enter my head & keep me up at night, so I guess this is my immediate answer:
- Besides my hubby & his happiness, knowing everyday that one less doggie is neglected or abused.
- Wishing that humans do better looking out for the underdog, weak, ill, elderly & children in real need.
I also put my husband on the spot & this is what he said:
- The success of his business
- How he performs at his events
But today, I’m really posing the question in terms of dressing.
My answer is shoes! Being an avid exerciser, (sometimes) runner, but more importantly, due to the nature of my work, shoes are crucial. It is the difference between getting through 4 events in row & being on your feet for 12 hours a day with ease or feeling serious pain in your arches, knees & back after so much work.
We are hosting/working private events, so dressing the part & looking polished is very important. But, how do you marry the two together? That is the #1 battle for my husband & myself. Dressing appropriately, but also being able to coordinate sturdy, supportive, comfortable footwear is tricky.
Not sure if this is the case for you, but even though I try on shoes in the store, add one of my arch inserts if needed, walk as much as I can before purchasing, I’m still wary if they will stand the test of time. Literally the amount of time I’m on my feet for work.
No offense towards Troentorp Clogs, but I was skeptical if these sandals would work for outdoor events we hosted throughout the summer. It’s not you; it’s me. I’m skeptical about every shoe I wear when it comes to work. Well, I won’t know until I try.
Obviously, you can see these Anna Clog sandals have great color & style, but surprisingly, the arch support was unbelievable which is almost rare when you think about the number of sandals out there are on the market. As I’ve aged, my arches have fallen, so that is most important to me & you can actually feel how snug the arch support of the sandal is against your foot. They were incredibly soft to walk in & the anatomically shaped foot bed provided more support than I could have imagined thanks to their “orthopedically correctly” construction of their clogs.
It was a passion, eagerness & enthusiasm to learn that brought Troentorp Clogs to life in 1907. A lot has happened over the years since the humble beginnings in their little factory in Bastad, but the continued work to rethink, develop & improve production techniques & the quality of the clogs results in the impeccable craftsmanship you see, feel & experience today.
Not only will you get a great durable fit that retains it shape, you have oodles of styles & colors to choose from that will complete so many looks.
With a long tradition of handing down the knowledge through the generations, perfecting the production & quality craftsmanship, I can see why Troentorp Clogs are famous both in Sweden & abroad.
My personal favorite is the gold color & adorable weave pattern in the Anna Clog sandals with that little bit of shimmer. It works perfectly with my mustard yellow dress, soft pink scarf & off-white capris.
